EVE Plans Free Half-Day Seminars on Building Verification Expertise; Peet James to Conduct Tutorial Aimed at Helping Design Teams Prepare Verification Plans SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—April 25, 2005— Emulation and Verification Engineering (EVE) kicks off a series of free half-day seminars designed to increase verification expertise later this month in Sunnyvale and Irvine, Calif., and Austin, Texas. Tutorials will be held May 17-18 in Sunnyvale, May 19 in Irvine and May 20 in Austin. Peet James, principal of eVera Consulting Corporation and formerly of Qualis Design, will provide expert instruction on how to achieve verification success through the creation of a strategic verification plan. The agenda includes step-by-step guidance on how to design and document a verification system, taking into account the latest in verification languages, test generation, coverage, checking and debug. Attendees will receive a copy of James' textbook "Verification Plans" by Springer Publishing House. Demonstrations of EVE's ZeBu (for Zero Bugs), a hardware-assisted verification platform, will be offered to show how it can be used in the design of Systems-on-Chip (SoCs) through its advanced features such as support for interactive hardware debugging. Registration is free of charge to qualified professionals who are directly involved with and/or manage chip verification. To register, visit: http://www.eve-team.com/book.html.
